Always seem to be full of high pressure sales people, but also seems to have all the newest PC components, but the water cooling section needs improvement. With all these high end system components they have the smallest custom water cooling section I have ever seen... For those that would like to cool more then their CPU it's not the place to go... But they do have a huge all in one section if you just need to cool your CPU
In over a decade, I've never had a bad experience here! I love this store. You can trust them to steer you correctly regardless of your knowledge of computers. Never once have they tripped my BS meter. Such a great staff and the prices are more than fair at worst, but usually better than you can find online, let alone what you'd expect at a brick-n-mortar, but you gain so much advice by just talking to them! I'd give them more stars if I could!
I love going to Micro Center. It's kind of like organized chaos inside. The sales reps are always helpful and knowledgeable. I like that they have business laptops available to browse unlike big box stores that tend to focus on consumer laptops. I try to patronize them with my business whenever I can rather than support other major online technology sites/vendors.
I was absolutely blown away by my first experience purchasing a PC through Micro Center in St Louis Park. On black Friday I bought an open box PowerSpec PC at a substantial discount since the manager approved 10% off the sale price instead of the typical 5%. After setting it up and installing Destiny 2, I began to notice some serious performance/hardware issues. The computer froze at random during normal use and especially during game play. I brought the PC back to the store within the 15 day return window and asked whether I should have it fixed under warranty or exchange it for a new one. I spoke to several people: Ian & Chris (returns & exchanges counter), Alexander (repair desk), Joe (front manager), and Dillon (sales rep in the PC area). Every single employee was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and understanding of my situation. The manager approved an exchange for a new PC and was even willing to match the original open box price. He said to me, "it is very important that our customers are 100% satisfied." I was utterly speechless. Sure many businesses claim that they guarantee customer satisfaction in theory, but when it affects their bottom line they quickly change their tune. Micro Center is different. Their customer service is unmatched and they go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy. From now on I will personally refer others to Micro Center and do all my electronics shopping at this store. Thank you to all the staff at the Saint Louis Park Micro Center!
