Well, had my first instance of serious food poisoning after eating here. Had the chicken sandwich, sweet potatoes and shared an app with the husband. A few hours later stomach hurt and had to use the bathroom. By the next morn it had escalated to well really gross proportions. Day of work missed and I threw up enough that my throat started to bleed. The service was okay, not exceptional but it was busy so understood. I can't overlook the poisonous food. Hence, the one star.
As we continually waited for our waitress to show up... with our drinks, appetizer and food order, we constantly noted the groups of people coming in the front door and waiting ungodly amounts of time for someone to even come up front to greet/seat them. Once people were seated, no one came to take their orders..... those that did get their order taken (by the same single waitress)... they also had to wait LONG amounts of time for their food. Those patrons that were there before us and ate.. then left...their tables were not bused for 45-60 minutes. When the waitress finally brought us our bill (she knew we were NOT happy with the service), she had comped us for our appetizer and taken off the burger that had come with onions and needed to be remade. I asked her outright what the heck was going on as this was the worst service I had ever had in a restaurant. She apologized stating that there was only 3 employees on the floor and 2 in the kitchen. How on earth do you run a restaurant with that amount of staff? I saw NO evidence of management on site at all during the LONG 2 hour period we were there. After that horrible experience it gnaws at me that we still ended up with a $54.04 dollar bill. We should not have been charged at all. In fact we should have walked out after the first half hour of NO service. Needless to say I warned other patrons on my way out to not stay and explained why and I will never be back to this location. I gave you one star because giving you a -0 star was not an option.
Our group of 4 adults and one child went to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel on Sunday evening 09/24/17. It was awful. There was ONLY 3 employees out on the floor... the one waitress, the one hostess and one guy that came out occasionally to bus tables. It took more than 45 minutes to get our one appetizer... and our drinks/water.... and more than an hour to get our food order. When the food came, the food was cold and one member of our party ordered a burger with NO onions, needless to say it came with onions. One member of our party ordered a strawberry margarita... it came in a tall Long Island Tea glass and was pinkish/red but tasted nothing like a strawberry margarita.
Fun atmosphere. We make this place a frequent stop on business trips up to Minneapolis. There good at quick lunch service and know we usually need to get in and out fast.
Chain offering American style food and drinks. It was open even on Thanksgiving Day dinner ! The chicken wings and the sliders were kinda okayish. The pasta was good.
3.5 Stars... Overall, the food was good and the service good. The fries could have been fresher and I prefer my meat warmer. The server forgot the drink I ordered when we ordered out main meals. Good flavor for food. Service was friendly and all 8 of us, including 4 kids, were served well.
