The area has a Riviera feel to it.
I Went to Cub Foods. This location is a little more compact but it is well laid out. It is a little bit of a specialty store as it caters to millenial's and their on the go party lifestyles.
The location of this store is nestled in among the exclusive high rise West End. Apartments, and hotels.
Beautiful mall with an excellent movie theater and dining options. On Tuesday nights, you can watch a movie at the theater for just $5! It's a steal. They have many upscale stores and places to eat. The Yard House is one of my favorites.
This is a great place to go shopping at a few stores, see a movie, or go out for happy hour with friends. There's plenty of parking if you are ok walking to the ramps, otherwise I've always found a spot driving around as people are constantly coming and going. Many stores and bars don't seem to stay here, which is sad because this is a great spot. It's got the downtown feel with the ability to bar hop while walking, but it feels so much safer.
Really nice area, lots of good places to eat. Couple nice places to shop. The only real issue I have with the area is a lot of the parking is metered or parking ramp only. There is one free ramp that I know of but it's underground with the entrance on one side and the elevator drops you out on the other side of the street. A little disorienting the first time. Traffic during rush hour is extra terrible as well. Took a good 15-20 min just to get on the highway.
They have a bigger selection of healthy options in microwaveable steam bags for smaller portion meals that you can cook for just one or two people.
The shops at west end are all small specialty stores and one of a kind restaurants. It an exciting assortment of entertaining options all with in walking distance.
This is a fantastic area to shop and eat and drink. There are plenty of options for all of the above including a move theater as well. Glad to see an area like this close enough to Downtown but still in the suburbs. Parking is easy here with underground lots and also a parking garage.
This store has a liquor store built off to one side with a nice selection of fine wines.
