A great place to worship the One true God in a loving community!
I have found Kehilat Sar Shalom (KSS) to be a great place to learn, especially about the feasts of the Lord while practicing them. I have been attending KSS for about 5 years. I enjoy interactions with a diverse assembly of people of all ages with backgrounds from many countries, who are willing to grow in our faith in God and God's anointed son Messiah Yeshua. KSS has solid biblical teachings. We hear lessons that bring in Hebrew cultural and Hebrew scripture translations from the Torah and Prophets to help us understand what kind of audience Messiah Yeshua, and Paul were speaking to in that first century context. All these things contribute to helping us become lifelong disciples of Messiah Yeshua- by incorporating Yeshua’s teaching and practices into our lives. We receive excellent teaching from Rabbi Stan Farr, as well as teaching from many others who give commentary teachings on the Torah readings. The Sabbath’s are a delight and are always a joyful time of Messianic worship singing, learning, and a lunch afterwards to enjoy building relationships within the community at KSS.
Love my congregation and I love my people. This is my favorite place to be every week to share God's love and to live out His Torah. I found so many friends and we are truly family here. Lovely place. I am a Baptist Christian converting to messianic Judaism. The synagogue is very loving and diverse. The people there aren't judging despite your past. I recommend anyone looking for a synagogue attend. Afterwards there's lunch and classes for children. I also love the songs and dancers. Great place, happy I've found it.
This place is full of caring individuals, the Ruach HaKodesh and great teaching... what more can you ask for?
